Drafted from Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL) by Tampa Bay Lightning in the 3 round (64 overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
 Bio: 
1997-98: His 1st season of major-junior hockey, tied Vincent Lecavalier for 1st on the team and 5th in the league in points (115) … Also ranked 1st on the team in assists (82).
1998-99: Ranked 3rd in the QMJHL in assists (92) and 4th in points (131) … Finished 1st on the team in assists, points and 2nd in goals (39) … In 9 games, led the team in playoff assists (12), points (21) and tied for 1st in goals (9).
